Hello everyone... the sun is shining , the ash is clearing , there is a chill in the breeze but there seems to be a great feeling of being awakened from our winter slumbers and ready to enjoy the outdoors.
Of course some of the more brave of us have never stopped enjoying the outdoor world , even in the harsh conditions we have had this winter... but many did stay in the warm and dry .
Now may be the time to get outside again, ten minutes in the garden or walk to the post box can make quite a difference. It increases our oxygen levels, boosts our vitamins and adds a feel good feeling to the day.
We have heard it before that central heating can dry our skin, and leave us feeling headachy and sometimes a little nauseous, so why not don a little moisturiser on exposed areas such as your face ( with added SPF if you need) and wrap up for a gentle walk to blow away the cobwebs.
Be careful if you use essential oils ....citrus oils , and bergamot too can help us feel a little more energised and upbeat in a gentle massage or oil burner at home , but can make us more sensitive to light in the sunshine .
Why not try geranium , peppermint, pine or lavender.... make sure it's just a drop or two each of two oils in almond oil or apricot kernel oil, or grapeseed is good if you have nut allergy.
Have a great time!
